Need help paying for a course?

 

MK Education (MRxI Corporation & Kushan, LLC) offers a payment plan to assist our students in making the class of their choice, a possibility.

 

How does it work?

  • Students start by filling out the online application form - which does NOT commit them to the payment plan.

  • MK Education will send a sample invoice with sample dates and payment schedule.

  • If a student would like to sign up for the payment plan, he/she will pay a nonrefundable down payment, which varies by program/course, plus a $99 processing fee.

  • The remaining fee for the course will be paid according to the schedule outlined on the invoice.

 

How are payments made?

 

  • Checks - Ideally, students will send all checks at once, with each a date that corresponds with the payment due date listed on the final invoice. Each check would only be deposited on the date due, which is the date on the check.  If preferred, a student could send the down payment and processing fee to get started, and then send the remaining checks when due. Please see example below.

  • Credit/Debit Card - If you choose to make a payment by credit card, please note that a charge of 3.9% would be added to the payment amount.

 

Will I be charged interest?

No. There is no interest charge for using this payment plan.

 

 

What is the policy for dropping a class?

Once you have attended a class, no payments are refundable and you are expected to complete the payments due in full.  A class can only be dropped, prior to the start date of the class (at least one business day before the first day of class) The down payment and processing fees are not refundable.

 

 

What if my payment is late?

Any delinquent/late payments will incur a $30 late fee and any bounced checks will incur an additional $25 fee.

 

Are there any extra fees?

Unless a payment is late, delinquent, or a payment bounces, there will be no extra fees.  Credit card fee is as listed above.

 

 

When is the final payment due?

For programs without an externship, the final payment must be made in full one month prior to the end of the course. For programs with an externship, the final payment must be paid in full two weeks prior to the start of the externship.  All payment due dates will be outlined in the invoice.

EXAMPLE

 

Example:  It’s June 30th and John Doe wants to take a Dental Assistant class that begins September 1st.  The cost of the program is $2,000, with externships beginning November 15th.  John will need to send 5 checks to MK Education to begin the payment plan.

 

  • Check 1:  Down payment & registration fee to be deposited immediately

o    $550 down payment* + $99 processing fee = $649 down payment due

o    Balance due is now $1450 to be paid before externships

 

  • Check 2:  1st monthly payment

    • Submit a check for $362.50 dated July 15th

    • The check will be held until that date & then deposited

 

  • Check 3:  2nd monthly payment

    • Submit a check for $362.50 dated August 15th

    • The check will be held until that date & then deposited

 

  • Check 4:  3rd monthly payment

    • Submit a check for $362.50 dated September 15th

    • The check will be held until that date & then deposited

 

  • Check 5:  4th monthly payment

    • Submit a check for $362.50 dated October 15th

    • The check will be held until that date & then deposited
