PROGRAM BREAKDOWN
This program is allocated into classroom participation, lab simulations to identify, clean, and store surgical and other common usable instruments that require sterility. Some topics covered in this program include anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, infection prevention and control, tools for cleaning, safety and decontamination. Graduates of this program will have understanding of central service workflow, basic job knowledge and skills, basic job responsibilities and central service concerns.
