CERTIFICATION

 

It’s never too late to brush up on pharmacy technician skills and knowledge!  This module will offer existing pharmacy technicians a comprehensive review for each national pharmacy technician certification exam!  Students will have the opportunity to review vital concepts and topics in this 40 contact hour module with an industry professional.  Discussions included are federal and state laws, code of ethics, brand and generic drug names and classifications, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology for technicians, prescription filling processes and knowledge of over-the-counter medications.  Interested individuals can utilize this module in addition to a full pharmacy technician training program to help prepare for either national certification exam.
